If you are interested in meeting a particular cat, please email us to verify that he or she is still available for adoption and present at the shelter. Many of our cats are in foster homes, so please email us to let us know who you want to meet and when, so that we can arrange to bring them to an adoption event.

I am a handsome gray tabby with white feet. I am a gentle, loveable cat. I have a super loving personality and just want to find my forever home. I am a little timid in new surroundings, but once I am comfortable I become curious and want to explore. I give kisses and head butts. I like to be held or sit near you and be petted. I talk too! I love to play, especially with toy mice and balls. I enjoy looking out the window and watching the critters outside. I am a little too curious around doors, so my new family will have to be careful. I came to AWLMC from the Montgomery County Humane Society. I was given up because my previous owner did not feel she had enough time to care for me. . I am a beautiful gray and white girl. I am sweet and friendly. I am timid at first meeting, but will come out of my shell once I get to know you better. I love to play. My favorite toys are a pipe cleaner, laser pointer and toy mice. I arrived at AWLMC from Lexington, VA. My former owner lost her job and is close to losing her house. She has lots of pets and needs to find new homes for some of us. She found me under a pile of rubble at a construction site with burnt paws. I am a handsome black and white tuxedo boy. My names come from the white ‘tip’ of my tail.
